Reset HP EliteBook 8560p password - All HP Notebooks Help
After performing a fresh Windows 10 install in my HP EliteBook 8560p (I did a clean install), I tried to add the printer HP .
What you need to do:
1. Open your start menu, go to "All Programs" (Windows Key+A)
2. Type "Device Manager" in the search bar
3. Expand the "Printers and scanners" category
4. Right click on the HP printer you wish to add and select "Properties"
5. Click on "Printer port" on the left
6. Click "Add"
7. Select "Windows printer port (recommended)"
8. Click "Apply"
9. A window will open asking for a port and assigning it to this printer.
10. Click "Next"
11. In the following window, give the printer a name.
12. Click "Next"
13. Click "OK" to close the printer properties.
14. Click "Windows" on the left
15. Click "HP printer and fax"
16. Click "Set up..."
17. Click "Next"
18. In the following window, click on the "Printers" tab and choose the right "HP printer and fax"
19. Click "Next"
20. Click "Finish" to close the device properties window.
21. Click on "Close" to close the window.
22. A window will open which allows you to assign the printer to a specific application.
23. Click on "Add a printer"
24. Select "HP printer and fax"
25. Click "Next"
26. Click "Next" to close the printer properties window.
27. Click "Close" to close the window.
28. Click "OK" on the next window
29. Click on the "Windows" menu in the upper left
30. Click "HP printer and fax"
31. Click on "Print"
32. A message will appear on screen, "Printing to HP printer and fax"
33. Click "Finish" to print your document
34. Click on "Close" to close the window.
35. Click on "Windows" in the upper left
36. Click on "All Programs"
37. Click "HP printer and fax"
